Terms of Service

These Terms govern access to and use of AVORA, the adventure app that helps users discover adventures, join experiences, create trips, and meet new people.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AVORA, users agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and applicable laws and regulations.

2. Eligibility

Users must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in their jurisdiction if higher, to use AVORA.

3. Accounts

• Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials.
• Users must provide accurate information and keep it reasonably up to date.
• Users are responsible for activity under their account.

4. Google Sign-In and Third-Party Services

Users may sign in through Google or interact with third-party services connected to AVORA. Those services may also be governed by their own terms and policies.

5. User Content

Users may create profiles, adventures, itineraries, images, and messages. By submitting content, users represent they have the necessary rights to share it and grant AVORA a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to use, host, display, and distribute it for operating and improving the service.

6. Platform Role

AVORA is a platform that helps connect users around adventures and shared experiences. It does not organise, supervise, control, or guarantee the quality, legality, or safety of adventures created by users.

7. Prohibited Conduct

• Harassing, threatening, or harming other users.
• Posting false, deceptive, unlawful, or infringing content.
• Using the service for unlawful activity.
• Attempting to interfere with security, integrity, or operation of the platform.

8. Safety and Assumption of Risk

Trips and in-person activities can involve risk, including injury, illness, property damage, or worse. Users voluntarily assume risks associated with adventures arranged through AVORA and are responsible for their own safety, suitability, and preparedness.

9. No Background Checks or Guarantees

AVORA does not guarantee the identity, intent, truthfulness, or conduct of users, nor promise listed experiences will be safe, accurate, available, or suitable.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AVORA and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss arising from user interactions, adventures, or use of the service.

11. Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold AVORA harmless from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from their content, conduct, misuse, or violation of these Terms.

12. Suspension and Termination

AVORA may suspend, restrict, or terminate access where appropriate, including for violations or conduct creating risk for the service or its users.

13. Changes to the Service or Terms

AVORA may modify the service and update these Terms. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
